Tacoma Dominican General Fund

This fund is the source of all of our care for our retired and infirm sisters. This fund provides for the basic care and general needs of our retired sisters. It also is used for insurance and health premiums.

Monies for this fund come from the general donations that people make at Christmas, when a sister dies, or from an Estate remembrance.

We presently have 63% unfunded liability; 62 vowed members with 51 over the age of 70.

In 1987, we established a Charitable Trust to care for our retired sisters.
